SALGES is the Saskatoon Association for Loss and Grief Education and Support.

The name is long, but the task we have is critically important. Helping people to understand and deal with issues of loss and grief is a crucial function of society. As more and more people have less and less connection to significant others beyond their immediate family, the loss of a member of that family can be devastating.

Our Purpose and Objectives

1. To bring together individuals and agencies engaged in grief counseling and support in the Saskatoon area.
2. To educate its members and the general public about issues of grief and loss.
3. To develop standards and guidelines for members
4. To maintain membership directory.
